The location is particularly attractive, a pleasant one hour's drive from Shannon Airport, it is backed by the beautiful Glen of Aherlow and the famous Galtee mountains. Once owned by General Sir William Butler, the Butlers of Ormond crest is still evident on the facade of the Round Tower. This Castle is now a comfortable family home. The drawing room has raspberry coloured walls, marble fireplaces, polished wooden floors and a chintzy covered suite giving it a cosy, relaxed atmosphere.
