house Clonmannon Lodge was originally the gate lodge for the Clonmannon estate and is a delightful and unique residence. The original part of the house was built in the 18th century and at the time was a four bedroom cottage. It was completely rebuilt In 1989 with a lovely cosy ambiance. Subsequently in 1996 a large contemporary extension designed by award winning architect Mary Donohoe was added. This part of the house is bright and spacious and takes full advantage of the beautiful undisturbed parkland setting as far as the eye can see.
