In the town of Gran Alacant (8 km from Alicante airport) on the Spanish Costa Blanca ( = white coast) lies the stylish urbanization Novamar. where this attractive accommodation is situated. This is an ideal venue for families with children. There are several possibilities for sport and amusement. such as a manege. musea and facilities for aquatic sports at reasonable distance. This accommodation is not exclusively for families; people looking for a quiet holiday can enjoy the beautiful vicinity of Gran Alacant. Adjacent to the urbanization is an excellent natural area for walking. barbecueing. mountain biking or bird-spotting at the lake. Several cash dispensers can be found on the boulevard and in the immediate vicinity. Information on several excursions can be obtained in the Tourist Information Office on the boulevard. In the hospital (1800m) are German- and English-speaking doctors. THis beautiful holiday accommodation in the centre of the urbanisation is at walking distance from the swimming-pool. This nice duplex accommodation is spacious and cozily furnished. Downstairs you find three bedrooms and a bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with two single beds, in the third one is a double bed. Upstairs is a spacious living-room with open kitchen and a separate room for the washing-machine. Also upstairs is a second bathroom with bath-tub. The house has air conditioning and TV with English channels. Sliding doors in the living-room give access to the large roof terrace, from where you have an excellent view of the sea. On the Spanish east coast lies the Costa Blanca. the 'White Coast'. with its health-improving sunshine and a cool sea-breeze. The distance by car from London to Alicante is 1888 (including 1660 via motorway). Flying from London to Alicante takes 2.5 hours. A visit to the city of Alicante at 8 km is very recommendable. Pass the day in this town for shopping or visiting musea and monuments. Don't miss out on the town of Santa Pola with its salt-lakes. also at 8 km distance. This idyllic fishing-port was once an important roman harbour. The fort. dating from the 1600s. accommodates the archeological museum and an aquarium. Take the ferry from the Santa Pola coast to the small island of Tabarca. Only 40 inhabitants live here and almost everything is prohibited: putting up tents. water-skiing. etc. Yet the island attracts hundreds of visitors daily. The city wall surrounding the village has three towers. Several narrow streets lead up to the church square. The most peculiar house is the stadtholder's residence. which houses the island's only hotel. A real must for young and old is a visit to the Aquapark in the neighbouring Torrevieja (30 km). Here you find huge slides and several swimming-pools. You can enjoy horse-back riding with Dutch instructors. (beach rides or taking classes) or visit the Rojales golf-course at 10 km. Summers last long in this area (from the end of April until half October). Winters do not get colder than ca. 12 C. You can visit the Costa Blanca all year round. ATTENTION! Availability is restricted. You will be notified within a few days whether your booking has been confirmed. In case of a one-week booking, arrival and departure are on Saturday, if there is no other agreement. Online bookings are billed directly by e-mail. Smoking is prohibited in the house. Youth groups are not admitted. Arrival: between 15:00 and 19:00. Departure: by 10:00 a.m. Alternative times are possible only by prior arrangement. You are requested to keep the house tidy during your stay and wash your bed and bath linen when necessary. Please account for the fact that the house is part of a community with permanent residents who will appreciate your consideration of their working and resting hours as well as their values and social norms. The tenant will receive a set of keys to the house. In case of loss, house locks will be replaced at the expense of the tenant. Deposit to be payed on the spot is € 200. You will receive it back on the last day of your stay, after the house was checked. In case of accommodations with electricity meter, the electricity costs (0.20 per kwh) will be deducted from the deposit. In case of accommodations without meter, the fixed electricity costs will be payed on arrival. You can make an option booking of a maximum of 48 hours, if you choose an arrival date more than 7 days in the future. You can make your reservation definite within these 48 hours or cancel it if you wish. Within 7 days of arrival it's not possible to make an option booking. All reservations within 7 days of arrival are definite and cannot be canceled without charge. Please note: the rates do not include the mandatory hirers' liability insurance.
