Puerto Rico The beach at Puerto Rico is a golden sandy beach which was imported from the Sahara, it has plenty of sunbeds, a sheltered swimming area and plenty of restaurants serving breakfast throught to evening meals, snacks throughout the day and of course ice creams. There is also a water park and tennis for the more energetic and two crazy golf courses for the young and young at heart! The commercial centre has plenty of varied and good restaurants serving a selection from steak to pasta and the ever popular chinese buffett ... eat all you can for 6.95 and plenty of shops for those shopaholics! From either marina you can take fishing trips, go diving or paracending etc or catch the frequent ferries that run to other local villages. But if its partying you want then there's no where better place than Puerto Rico, which comes to life at night with something for everyone from ballroom dancing to pubs and clubs, some not even shuting until 6am. Amadores Amadores has a fabulous beach of imported sand from the Bahams, plenty of sunbeds, a sheltered swimming area, a children's play are with climbing frame etc and again many excellent restaurants. The two resorts are linked by a lovely coastal walk or you can catch the continuous bus that links the resorts and Europa Centre. Taxis are also plentiful and inexpensive. Buses also run regularly throughout the island so exploring is cheap and easy, there are plenty of cars for hire too. Surrounding Area Puerto de Mogan - is a beautiful fishing village comonly known as "Little Venice" on account of it's many canals, you can take the bus or enjoy the coastal view from the ferry. A lively and virbrant market is held on a Friday ...... don't miss it!! Arguineguin - is a traditional fishing town where you may see the fishermen landing their daily catches of tuna.
